WARNING:
Only use fan module in STOK approved applications. Use
in other applications may expose the internal battery to
extreme heat. Exposure of the battery to extreme heat may
cause the battery to explode leading to possible serious
personal injury.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 Use only the 4V battery pack charger supplied by the
manufacturer to recharge.
 Use only recommended battery pack or batteries. Any
attempt to use another battery pack will cause damage to
your product and could possibly explode, cause a fire, or
personal injury.
 Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery
leakage may occur. If liquid comes in contact with your skin,
wash immediately with soap and water. If liquid gets in your
eyes, flush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes,
then seek immediate medical attention.
 Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack. Do not use a
battery pack or charger that has been dropped or received
a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject to explosion.
Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged battery imme-
diately. Use of a damaged battery pack can result in serious
personal injury.
 Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use
them to instruct others who may use this tool. If you loan
someone this tool, loan them these instructions also.

*IP Rating: Specifies the environmental protection the product
enclosure provides. An IP Rating of 52 denotes protection
against harmful deposits of dust and against direct sprays of
water up to 15º from the vertical (light rain and wind). The water
resistance rating applies only when the battery cap is installed.
Using the charcoal starter with fan module will heat briquets
faster and more evenly than if they were spread across the grate.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 1.
To install batteries:
 Rotate the fan module 90º counterclockwise then slide the fan
module from the tube.
 Unscrew the fan module cap.
NOTE: Do not remove the gasket inside the cap.
 Place three AAA batteries in the slots in the cell carrier as
shown in figure 1.
 Insert the cell carrier in the direction shown. Make sure the
raised rib on the cell carrier aligns with the groove in the fan
module.
 Place the cap over the cell carrier and push down until the cap
meets the threads at the end of the fan module.
 Screw the cap on securely then slide the fan module into the
tube and rotate 90º clockwise.
