Remove the excess oil with a paper towel.
1. Place the grill on a dry, level surface.
2. Insert the temperature thermostat (4) firmly into the device. Make sure that the
temperature thermostat (4) is inserted correctly. Plug the other end of the power
cord in the mains socket.
3. Turn the temperature thermostat (4) to the desired heat setting. The pilot light (6)
will turn off when the temperature reaches the selected setting.
4. Prepare the food to be cooked. The non-stick plate (3) finish allows you to cook with
virtually no oil.
5. Place the food on the non-stick plate (3) and cook to your taste. The heat should be
adjusted to your personal preference and the food to be cooked.
6. Turn off the temperature thermostat (4) after using. Unplug the power cord from the
wall socket and from the device. Leave to cool before handling the grease collection
drawer (5).
If you use an extension cable, this must have a capacity that is equal or greater than
the grill's power rating. The extension cable should be placed so that it is not covered
by fabrics or in a place that is accessible to children or where there is a risk of tripping.

Practical advice

• Defrost the feed before putting it on the grill.
• For pieces of meat, set the temperature thermostat (4) to the maximum position
and make sure that the grill is completely preheated before cooking. To cook meat
in a traditional way and according to your taste, choose the temperature that fits
best for you.
• Be careful not to scratch the special non-stick layer on the plate (3) since this will
affect its non-stick capability. Use a normal wooden spatula. DO not use sharp or
pointed metal utensils.
• When only using part of the grill's surface area, place all the food in the centre of
the grill.

Care and CleaninG

-
Before using for the first time and after each use, wash the non-stick plate (3) in
warm, soapy water, rinse and dry. Do not immerse the temperature thermostat (4)
in water or allow it to come into contact with any liquid.
-
Use plastic or wood utensils to manipulate food on the plate. Do not use metal
utensils as these may scratch the plate's non-stick surface. Do not cut food on the
grilling surface.
-
If there are any food remains on the non-stick plate (3) or on the bottom of the grill,
remove by rubbing gently with a very soft cleaning pad or with a kitchen towel. Do
not use aluminium scourers or abrasive cooker cleaners.
-
With time, the plate's non-stick finish may darken due to the heat and the food
cooked on it. However, this will have no affect your grill's performance in any way.
To remove these stains, use a surface cleaner.
-
After treating the non-stick surface with a cleaner, lightly moisten the plate surface
with cooking oil before reusing.
-
To clean the other parts of your grill, simply wipe off grease splashes and drops
when they occur. Any remains of food can be removed with a sponge or soft pad.
