- Place two staffs at points A and B 60m far from each other
- Put the instrument halfway between A and B
- Perfectly centre the circular level
- Make the two readings A1 and B1
The different height between the two points is equal to their dif-
ference: D1 = A1-B1
- Bring the instrument closer to one of the two staffs
- Make two new readings A2 and B2
The different height between the two points is equal to their dif-
ference: D2 = A2-B2
If D2 is equal to D1 the instrument is properly calibrated. In case
of difference, contact the dealer for a revision.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Metrica optical auto levels (code 60480 = 20x, code 60466 =
32x and code 60467= 24x) are appreciated for their durability,
ease of use and compactness.
They are suitable for all common jobs in external places (con-
struction sites, road works, canals, etc.)
CAUTIONS
Instrument must always be carried using its case.
Take off the instrument from the tripod when it is necessary to
transport it especially if on the shoulder.
Instrument must be protected by sands, powder, rain and hu-
midity.
MAINTENANCE
Before storing it in its case, the instrument must be dusted and
dried if wet.
GUARANTY
The instrument has a 12 months guaranty against manufactu-
ring defects and it is excluded any different guaranty even im-
plied. Defects due to carelessness, manumission, improper use
or accidental falls are not included in the guaranty. Manufac-
turers and/or dealers are not liable for whatever indirect and/
or unforeseeable and/or consequential damage or lost of profits
and, in any event, their eventual liability to pay damages and/or
reimburse incurred expenses shall not exceed the amount of the
instrument's purchase price.
