CAUTION

harm or risk of accident.
• Be calm and focused and ensure proper
operation.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Prohibited: manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Prohibited: Smoking and naked flames.
• Prohibited: Processing corrosive fluids.
The compressed air device may corrode.
• Prohibited: Using explosive or flammable
cleaning agents; disposing of leftover ma-
terials / cleaning agents incorrectly.
• Prohibited: Use in medical / food indus-
try; incorrect processing equipment; spark
formation.

Commissioning

Before start-up:
1. Observe technical data, figures, item
numbers, intended use and safety in-
structions

(see Instruction manual, Part 1, Chap-
ter: "Technical data" and the "Intended
use" chapter).
2. Carry out a visual inspection.
3. Do not use below 5° C.
4. Do not use cartridges under 15°C.
It is advisable to use cartridges at a tem-
perature between 15° and 20°C to ensure
the material is applied with maximum ef-
fect. Cold cartridges should be allowed to
acclimatise to the correct temperature.
Operation:
1. Adjust the working pressure on the filter
pressure reducer.
2. Press the trigger lever (item 02).
Underbody protection:
The standard equipment of the multi-pur-
pose gun includes a spray nozzle for under-
body protection. The intake pressure must
be adjusted on the depressurised device.
1. Screw the spray nozzle (item 10) on the
depressurised device all the way into the
multi-purpose gun (Fig. 2a, Fig. 2b).
2. Unscrew the nozzle another three turns
and fix in position using the counternut
(item 06) (Fig. 2c). Screw on the coun-
ternut up to the stop.
3. Screw on the cartridge with underbody
protection (Fig. 3a).
Increase the intake pressure if necessary:
the spray nozzle on the depressurised de-
vice must be screwed further in or out.
Cavity sealing:
1. Unscrew the spray nozzle (item 10) with
counternut (item 06) and the reduction
fitting (Fig. 4a) on the depressurised de-
vice.
2. Screw in the spray hose (item 11) in
place of the spray nozzle (Fig. 4b) up to
the stop.
3. Screw on the cartridge with cavity seal-
ing (Fig. 3a).
Note: the spray hose must be no longer
than 90 cm, otherwise the material will
not flow through the hose.
Only use thin material for cavity sealing!
