Quick Start Guide

information needed to help you make the most of your new monitors now and in all your future
projects.
What's in the box?
(1) Monitor and (1) Power-Cable
For Rokit 10-3 owners. (1) EVA foam pad for horizonal use.
(The KRK APP is available for download to your smartphone)
IMPORTANT: Before powering up the monitors, be sure all connections have been made. All faders
and controls should be set at their minimum levels, and all other equipment should be turned on
prior to powering up your KRK monitors.
Note: Your Rokit G4 monitors have friction lock, Neutrik combo connectors for the input. Use an
XLR cable or TRS (tip, ring, sleave) 1/4" balanced cables to connect to your interface, mixing board
or monitor controller. You can use an 1/8" to Stereo 1/4" unbalanced (mono) to hook up directly to
a phone, computer or music player. (CAUTION: Be sure the volume on your device is set to
minimum and then adjust to taste.)
With the DSP ROOM TUNING eqs, we have given you 25 different combinations of EQ voicings to
help you correct for your studio's acoustics to deliver more accurate monitoring. See below for an
explanation of the EQ choices we are giving you. Start with both the LOW EQ and HIGH EQ settings
set to 3: FLAT. Set your monitors up in your room according to the diagram below. Listen to some of
your favorite songs and mixes. Try different positions in your room and placement before making
EQ adjustments and then adjust the EQ to give you your best listening and monitoring experience.
