• Installation of the remote box
IMPORTANT
Install the remote box in the same room as the gulley.
IMPORTANT
Note concerning radio communication:
To ensure optimal radio communication,
1. Remove all possible sources of radio interference nearby. Sources of inter-
ference can be: metal structures, hi-fi speakers, the presence of multi-layer
insulation with aluminium, metal inspection hatches...
2. Install the remote box so that the receiving board is directed towards the
shower gulley:
DANGER
Incorrect installation of the box.
Danger of electric shock!
 Keep a minimum distance of 60 cm between the shower and the
remote box.
 The socket used to connect the box must be at least 60 cm away
from the shower.
 The shower screen must prevent the remote box from being
sprayed with water.

3.2 HYDRAULIC CONNECTION

SUCTION PIPE
1. Attach the suction pipe to the gulley using cyanoacrylate glue and tighten
with the collar supplied.
2. Check the watertightness.
IMPORTANT
Any intervention linked to a watertightness problem will not be covered by the
guarantee.
DISCHARGE PIPE
IMPORTANT
NOTICE
Evacuation brought underneath the pump!
Risk of siphoning.
 Install a diaphragm aerator (vacuum breaker) at the upper point of
the discharge.

3.3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Connect the pump to the remote box using the quick-connector cable sup-
plied.
Electrically connect the remote box.
4. COMMISSIONING
List of check points for commissioning:
1. Make sure that the pump tank is accessible for easy filling. Open the pump
reservoir cap. Fill the pump with 3 L of water using the cardboard funnel pro-
vided to allow priming of the pump. Make sure that the sealing disc and then
the cap are replaced.
2. Then pour 1 L of water into the gulley to perform a lifting test.
3. Check that evacuation is completed correctly: the motor starts automatical-
ly, the water from the gulley is correctly pumped.
4. Check the tightness of the connections with the shower connected to the
suction pump.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 over several cycles.
In the event of horizontal discharge after
the pump (or very weak lifting), install a
vertical lifting loop of at least 30 cm
above the pump in order to always have a
load on the non-return valve and thus
make it watertight. Indeed, if the check
valve is not waterproof, there is a risk of
water returning back to the gulley hole
and thus the pump restarting.
5. MAINTENANCE (SEE MAINTENANCE SHEET)
NOTICE
Do not turn the gulley sensor over for extended pe-
riods of time during maintenance, cleaning or sto-
rage!
Risk of battery discharge.
 Store the module in the direction it occupies in the gulley.
CLEANING THE FILTER
The removable gulley sensor filter should be cleaned daily.
1. Lift the cover.
2. Lift up the filter and remove any waste accumulated on it.
3. Throw the collected waste in the bin.
NOTICE
Do not throw waste in the gulley!
Risk of clogging.
 Throw the waste in a bin.
4. Wash the filter with water and washing-up liquid in the sink, then replace it.
CLEANING THE GULLEY
The gulley should be cleaned every month.
1. Remove the cover and filter.
2. Clean the gulley with soap and water.
CHECKING/CLEANING THE GULLEY SENSOR
The detection module should be checked and cleaned monthly, to be adapted
according to use.
1. Remove the gulley sensor by pulling upwards.
2. Turn the gulley sensor over briefly (5 to 10 seconds) and check that the
pump starts up (the green LED on the remote box will light up).
3. Remove any dirt and put it in the bin (do not throw it down the gulley sensor).
4. Clean with water and washing-up liquid in the sink.
5. Replace by clipping the gulley sensor into the gulley.
IMPORTANT
If disassembling the float, make sure you put it back in position with the magnet
pointing upwards!
CHECKING/CLEANING THE DUCKBILL VALVE
1. Remove the detection module.
2. Remove the duckbill valve.
3. Clean with water mixed with washing-up liquid,
especially the areas above and below the float.
Rinse.
4. Put back in place, holder with the suction hole
positioned downwards.
DESCALING
To descale and clean the pump and the discharge pipe, regularly use SFA's
descaler, designed to remove limescale while respecting the internal organs
of your appliance.
Use:
1. Pour the entire container into the shower tray without disconnecting the
plug. Do not add water.
2. Leave to act overnight then rinse with plenty of water.
IN THE EVENT OF A PROLONGED POWER CUT (ABSENCE OF SEVERAL
WEEKS)
To prevent the battery from draining,
- Cut off the water supply to the shower;
- Do not leave water in the tray;
- Check that the detection module is not submerged;
