MAINTENANCE
•
Never immerse this device in water.
•
The thermostat section may not be opened. If the thermostat section is opened, the warranty is
immediately void. Any repairs must be performed by the manufacturer.
•
The element must not be contaminated by dirt or deposits. Always maintain a good calcium
balance.
INSTALLATION
Never install the Profiheater immediately after the pH regulator in your pool installation. The best place to
install the device in the pipe system is immediately after the filter and UV-C unit and before the chemical
feeder.
•
The Profiheater is fitted with Ø63 mm couplings for glued fitting; glued reducers for connection to
Ø50 mm and 1½" female thread are included. If PVC pipes are used, make sure the connections to the
fittings are stress-free.
•
Hose connectors are also included. Cut the hose adapter to the desired size, fit the rubber sealing ring
and screw it into the 1½" reducer hand tight.
•
Never switch on the device without water or with insufficient flow. Therefore always install the
Profiheater horizontally, with the inlet and outlet at the top. This will ensure that there is always water in
the device, even if something should cause the pump to fail.
•
Connect the pump to the Profiheater and start the pump. Check the system for flow and leakage.
•
Insert the plug of the heating element in the mains socket and set the thermostat to the desired
