2. Remove the plaster guard from
the valve.
3. Measure the distance from the finished wall
to the top of the trim adapter. Compare that
distance with the table below to determine
which stop to use:

4. Remove the trim adapter.
Install the proper length
temperature limit stop,
making sure that the
alignment marks on the
valve body and limiter line
up (roughly at 1 o'clock
position).
Reinstall the trim adapter.
