Battery Instructions

1. Install 2 "AA" batteries per the diagram. Incorrect insertion will prevent the meter
from turning on due to the design of the battery housing. USE ONLY ALKALINE
BATTERIES. Use of any other type of battery may damage the meter and voids
the warranty.
Instructions for Use
2. Turn unit on by pressing power button. Display will read "On."
3. Press start button. "On" will start blinking on the screen. You have 10 seconds to
complete steps 4 and 5.
4. Dip a strip and remove immediately. Shake excess water from strip with a simple flick
of the wrist.
5. Place strip, pad side down, into meter aligning the top pad with the top of the slot.
6. Digital results for CL = Free Chlorine, PH = pH, and ALK = Total Alkalinity will appear
together in seconds.
Check the status of your results for each parameter. The status LO = low, OK = ideal,
or HI = high is displayed to the left of each digital value.
Note: To obtain results for Bromine, multiply CL value by 2.2.
