5.8 Edge planing
your planer comes with an adjustable side fence for
precision edge planning.
Installing and using the fence
The side fence can be used to support the planer
against the side of a work piece (e.g. side of a door).
Inset the fence through the aperture at the front of the
planer. Set to the desired width and lock into position
with the side fence securing knob.
5.9 Chamferring Edges:
To chamfer the edge of a working piece
ü Place the V-groove of the base plate onto the
edge of the working piece
ü Move the planner forward obtaining a chamfer of
45°.
6. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
ü Keep equipment clean
ü Keep vent unobstructed
ü Don't use sharp object to clean the equipment
ü The carbon brushes must be replaced by an authorised Service Centre so that
for spare parts.
