SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including the following:

Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI)

outlet. If one is not available, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.

Do not mount or place near sources of heat.

Do not secure product wiring with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.

Do not allow bulbs to rest on supply cord or on any wire.

Do not leave product plugged in unattended.

Keep product away from children and pets.

Do not use product for any purpose other than its intended use.

Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire or light string.

Do not close doors or windows on product or extension cords.

While in use, do not cover product with cloth, paper or any material not part of product.

Do not twist bulbs into the lamp holder to install. See instructions below on bulb replacement.


CAUTION
To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not install product on trees that have needles, leaves or branch

coverings made of metal or material that looks like metal. Do not mount or support light strings in a manner that
could cut or damage the wire insulation.
This product employs an overload protection device (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short circuit. If

fuse blows, unplug product from outlet and any accessories attached to product. Replace fuse following instructions
below (follow product markings for proper fuse rating) and check product. If replacement fuse blows, a short circuit
may be present and product should be discarded.
This product contains bulbs of two different sizes. To reduce the risks of overheating, do not replace steady

illuminating bulbs with flashing bulbs. Use 2.5 volt bulbs for steady illuminating bulbs and 4.0 volt bulbs for flashing
bulbs.
This lighting is rated 72 watts (0.6 Amps). Do not overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-

to-end up to a maximum of 210 watts (1.75 Amps) total.
If connecting to a lighting string that does not have a wattage (W) rating (found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug)
calculate the wattage as follows: Multiply the current (0.6 A) which is on the flag-type tag by 120.
For example: Lighting string is rated 120V, 60Hz, 0.6 Amps. 0.6 × 120 = 72 watts
TOTAL AMOUNT OF WATTAGE THAT CAN BE CONNECTED: 210 watts – 72 watts = 138 watts

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

Replace the fuse.
Grasp plug and remove from receptacle or other device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.

Open fuse cover by sliding access cover located on top of plug toward plug blades.

Carefully remove fuse.

Replace fuse with only a 3 Amp, 125 volt fuse provided with the product.

Close fuse cover by sliding the access cover away from the plug blades.

CAUTION:
Do not replace plug. Do not remove the safety device (fuse).
If attachment plug becomes damaged, discard product.
