HOW TO RELEASE PRESSURE BEFORE REMOVING THE
Stainless Steel
Carafe
WATER RESERVOIR CAP OR THE FILTER HOLDER
1. Unplug the espresso maker. Place a cup under the frothing tube.
2. Turn knob on the left right of the machine to "Steam" icon.
3. Once there is no longer steam or water exiting the frothing tube,
remove the water reservoir cap.

4. Turn knob back to "Off".

5. Slowly remove the filter holder.
WHAT SHOULD BE READILY AVAILABLE:
• Stainless steel frothing pitcher or ceramic mug for frothing.
(The stainless steel carafe can be used for frothing.)
• Coffee should be ground to a fine espresso grind that
resembles salt grains.
• Milk for making cappuccinos or lattes.
• For best espresso drinks, it's recommend using filtered or
bottled water.
CLEAN YOUR ESPRESSO MAKER
1. Wash the stainless steel carafe, filter and filter holder with mild
detergent and a soft sponge or cloth.
2. Remove the water reservoir cap.
3. Fill stainless steel carafe with 8 ounces of filtered water and pour
into water reservoir
4. Screw cap back onto the water reservoir.
5. Insert filter holder where "INSERT" marking is noted with no coffee.
Once inserted on the left, push the filter handle to the right until in
the locked position. It is important for the filter to be in the locked
position. Filter holder handle must be aligned with th locked
position on the body of the espresso maker.
6. Place stainless steel carafe under the filter holder.
7. Turn the knob on the right side of the machine to the brew icon.
Keep the knob there until there is no longer water exiting the filter.
8. Be sure to turn the knob to the "Off" position and unplug the
appliance.
CAUTION: Do not immerse the power cord, power plug or coffeemaker in water or
in any other liquid. Do not remove the water reservoir cap or filter until the pressure
in the unit is released. Make sure filer holder is in locked position before use.
