if they are not supervised or have not been instructed how to use the appliance by a
person who is responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
7. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
8. Keep children away from packaging material, as there is the risk of suffocation
among other things!
DANGER from electricity
9. In order to prevent a fire hazard, electric shock or personal injury, do not operate the
appliance outdoors and do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
10. Before you connect the appliance to your power supply, make sure that the voltage
indicated on the specification plate corresponds with that of your power supply.
11. The appliance may be connected only to properly earthed power supplies.
12. Never pull on the mains cord to disconnect the appliance from the power socket.
Always pull the plug.
13. Do not let the power cord hang over sharp edges or hot surfaces.
14. The plug must be easy to reach so that you can pull out the mains plug immediately
in case of emergency.
15. Switch the appliance off before you pull out the mains plug.
16. Pull the mains plug out of the power socket:
– when you are not using the appliance,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before you insert or remove accessories
– before you clean the appliance.
17. If the power cord or mains plug are damaged, the power cord must be replaced by
the manufacturer or an authorised dealer in order to avoid a hazard.
18. Never open the appliance and do not remove any covers or housing parts.
WARNING about burns/fire
19. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is switched on.
RISK of injury
20. Avoid contact with the moving parts. Keep hands, clothing, spatula and other items a
sufficient distance away from the rotating mixing tools.
21. Use only the accessories supplied. Using other parts may lead to personal injury or
damage to property.
22. Do not let the power cord hang over corners (trip-wire effect).
CAUTION – damage to property
23. Put the appliance on a horizontal, flat, heat-resistant, stable surface, at least 5 cm
from the wall.
24. Never place the utensil near a gas flame, electric hotplate or other source of heat.
External heat can damage the appliance.
25. Furniture today is coated with many types of paints and plastics and treated with
many different kinds of care products. It can therefore not be entirely excluded that
some of these materials contain components which corrode and soften the rubber
feet. If necessary, place a mat under the feet of the appliance.
