Magnification
The magnification depends on the distance between the camera and the reading
matter. In order to adjust the degree of magnification, hold the reading mat with
one hand, and move the camera either up or down using your other hand. Set
the height that you want in order to achieve the level of magnification that you
require (refer to the drawing).
To enlarge the information you are studying, move the camera downwards. To
make it smaller again, move the camera upwards.
Use the smallest level of magnification which is possible, to ensure that you are
able to:
gain your orientation more quickly;
•
don't have to move the document around as much;
•
achieve a greater depth of focus.
•
Scharpness
If you adjust the height of the camera or you want to display a document using
a different height from the one you used on your previous document, it is
necessary to set the sharpness again. Turn the button on the top of the Prisma
until the document appears sharp once again. The direction in which you turn
the button is not important.
Brightness
The brightness adjustment is located underneath the upper hinge joint. It may be
necessary to use this adjustment if there is a high level of light in the
surrounding area. Set the brightness level of the Prisma so that the magnified
display does not fade when scrolling.
