4.2. OPERATION PRINCIPLE
Babypure 5 is a complete purifier that has five stages of air filtering, making an optimal environment
in the home possible.
Firstly, it has a 3-in-1 filter to remove dirt and bad smells from the air. This consists of a pre-filter to
capture larger-sized particles, a HEPA filter to remove tiny particles down to 0.3 microns (such as
allergens, pollen, dust or spores) and an activated carbon filter that absorbs unwanted smells from
the home.
After the air has passed through this first cleaning stage, babypure 5 has a device for emitting UV light
that kills 99% of bacteria, viruses and germs that pass through the system.
Finally, it has a function to ionise the air. When this is activated, the unit emits negative ions into
the air to attract particles with positive charges such as dust, bacteria, pollen and other allergens and
substances that can be suspended in the air. By combining with the ions, the particles become too
heavy to remain suspended in the air and fall.
5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
5.1. RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE USING THE PURIFIER
1. Gently remove the air purifier from the box and the surrounding plastic bag.
2. The babypure 5 3-in-1 filter is protected from dirt and impurities inside the purifier. Therefore,
before using for the first time, you must take it out of its bag and place it correctly as shown in
section 5.7 of this manual.
3. Choose a firm, level and flat location for the air purifier. For an adequate flow of air, place the unit
at least 30 cm from any wall or furniture.
4. Ensure that none of the grilles is blocked.
5. Plug the power cable into an AC socket with the correct voltage.
