READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
WARNING-- To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage,
when using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Be sure that heat control knob handle is assembled and fastened prop-
erly before using this appliance.
3. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use heat control knob handle or knob.
4. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse control, cord, or
plug in water or other liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children or handicapped people.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
7. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the
event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
DO NOT operate if the legs become cracked or damaged.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
9. DO NOT use outdoors.
10. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces.
11. DO NOT place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner
or in a heated oven.
12. It is recommended that this appliance not be moved when it contains
hot oil or other hot liquid. If it must be moved when it contains hot oil or
other hot liquid, use extreme caution.
13. Always attach heat control knob handle to appliance first. Then plug
power supply cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn control to "OFF".
Then remove plug from wall outlet.
14. DO NOT use appliance for other than intended use.
15. A short detachable power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
16. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an exten-
sion cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
17. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter-
top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
18. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be
a grounded-type 3-wire cord.
19. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Repair should be done
only by authorized service personnel.
20. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Insert the heat control knob handle firmly into the socket. Important: Make sure the heat
control knob handle is securely inserted.
2. Plug unit into an AC electric outlet.
3. Turn heat control knob to desired setting or according to your recipe.
4. When finished cooking, turn heat control knob to OFF.
5. Use plastic, rubber or wooden utensils when cooking and serving.
6. If using metal utensils, be careful not to scrape the non-stick finish.
HOW TO USE
1. Place skillet on a dry, level surface. To prevent possible heat damage to your countertop,
place a heat resistant counter protector, such as a towel, under appliance.
2. Insert the heat control knob handle, with the quick release lever up, into the skillet so that
the two electrical pins on the skillet socket are fully inserted properly into the heat control
knob handle. Press the quick release lever down and slightly to the right, to lock into place.
3. Connect cord to a polarized outlet only. As a safety feature, this appliance has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than the other).This plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
4. Turn heat control knob to desired temperature. Remove cover and preheat skillet (this takes
approximately 2-3 minutes).
5. Prepare food for cooking.
6. Because the skillet features a non-stick finish, food may be prepared with or without
shortening, according to taste.
7. Place food in skillet and cook according to the desired temperature. Heat should be
adjusted according to personal preference and particular food being cooked.
