Control panel

 Connect the pressure reducer 64 to the inert
gas cylinder 60.
 Screw the inert gas hose 65 to pressure reducer
64 and open the gas cylinder valve 61.
 Start the "gas test" and set the gas quantity
with setting screw 66 of the pressure reducer.
The gas flow rate is indicated on the flow meter
63.
Rule of thumb:
Gas nozzle size = litres/min.
‰ The cylinder content is indicated on the con-
tent manometer 62.

LED fault
Lights up continuously when the system
has overheated or flashes if there is a fault
(see Chapter Messages), no arc ignition
possible.
LED remote control

Manual remote control connected:
LED lights up permanently, control knob 19
specifies the maximum value for the con-
trol range of the remote control.
Foot remote control connected:
The LED lights up when the foot remote
control is activated, e.g. when max. 100 A
has been set, the remote control can be
used to call up 3 A - 100 A.
LED VRD (only for machines with VRD) lit

continuously when the VRD function is
active (reduction of idle voltage). Flashes
when the output voltage exceeds the value
approved in the standard (e.g. in welding
operation).

Control knob
is used for continuous adjustment of the
welding current and for navigation in the
menu.

Slopes LED
lights up when the Slopes function is se-
lected (start and crater filling programme).

LED operating modes, 2-cycle / 4-cycle
lights up when 2-cycle or 4-cycle is active.

LED HF
lights up if you select the function HF, for
touchless ignition.
On/Off button (2 sec.)

Switches the device on or into Standby
mode.
LED lights up when switched on, flashes in
Standby mode.

Display of idling, welding voltage shows
the voltage at the time

Process display
shows the active welding process, TIG or
electrode.
Function display

shows the functions selected such as puls-
ing, spot welding, interval.

Button mode / function and process menu
is used for selecting the TIG 2-stroke/4-
stroke operating mode as well as the "Func-
tion and process menu". The button must
be pressed for at least 2 sec. to select the
"Function and process menu".

Job button
is used to switch the job mode on and off
and to store a job.
Display of welding current / job number

shows the setpoint for the main current.
The job number is shown as well when the
job mode is active.

Secondary parameter buttons / machine
configuration / gas test
A short button press is used to activate the
secondary parameter menu.
The machine configuration menu can be
activated from the secondary parameter
menu by pressing for an additional 2 sec.
A short button press ends the respective
menu level.
Pressing the button outside the menu for 2
sec starts the gas test for 30 sec.
