Note: The RN977 and RN978 thermostatically controlled heating
elements are set to provide heat when the temperature falls below
+30°F and will automatically shut off at +45°F.
Install the heating element by inserting the heater tube into the
"HEAT" port on the bottom of the AREOFINER II unit. Secure the
cartridge with the self-tapping screw provided. Slide the boot over
the leads and push onto the thermostat. A lead wire* can then be
attached, from the vehicle electrical system to the red heater lead.
The black lead must be secured to a good vehicle ground.

* Lead wire and ground wire are not provided with the heating element. It
is suggested a minimum 18 AWG Gauge stranded wire be used for
durability in service.
