ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
CHARGING MINI STARTER
Charge the starter for at least 5 hours immediately after purchase, and after each use. If not in use,
charge the starter every two months for 5 hours, to maintain the internal battery (LiCo) in full working
order.
• Make sure that no device is connected to the starter.
• Use the ON/OFF button to check the battery charging status on the LED charge indicator:
• 1st LED – battery completely flat (0%)
• 2nd LED – battery is approximately 25% charged
• 3rd LED – battery is approximately 75% charged
• 4rd LED - battery is approximately 100% charged
CHARGING MINI STARTER VIA MAINS POWER SUPPLY
• Collegare il caricatore alla presa di rete di alimentazione 230V.
• Connect the charger to the mains power supply (230V).
• Fit the plug of the charger into the charging socket on the front of the starter ("Charging socket").
• Only use the charger supplied with the starter.
• One of the 4 LEDs will flash while charging. When charge is complete, all of the 4 LEDs will be steady on.
The starter has been charged correctly.
• A complete charge will take approximately 5 hours.
• Do not use the starter while it is charging.
• When charge is complete, do not leave the starter connected to the mains power supply for a long period.
CHARGING MINI STARTER VIA CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET
• Fit the plug of the cable with cigarette lighter outlet into the charging socket on the front of the starter
("Charging socket").
• Start up the vehicle and then fit the cigarette lighter plug into the 12V socket of the vehicle.
• Only use the charger supplied with the starter.
• One of the 4 LEDs will flash while charging. When charge is complete, all of the 4 LEDs will be steady
on. The starter has been charged correctly.
• A complete charge will take approximately 5 hours.

vehicle for a long period.
NB: If the engine of the vehicle is not running, disconnect the starter from the cigarette lighter
socket.
USING PORTABLE STARTER – STARTING MOTORCYCLES
• Check that the starter has been charged.
• Always check the voltage of the motorcycle battery.
• If the voltage of the starter does not match the voltage of the motorcycle's system, explosions
or damage to the motorcycle, the starter and people may be caused.
• Find the post corresponding to the motorcycle's chassis; this is usually connected to the negative clip.
• Always connect the output lead with red clamp (+) to the positive post of the battery, and the
output lead with black clamp (-) to the motorcycle's chassis.
• Never reverse polarity; reversed polarity can cause explosions or damage to the motorcycle,
the starter and people.
• Check that the cables of the starter are away from moving parts and the fuel pipe.
• Wait until the green LED on the clamp lead goes on; start the motorcycle within 40 seconds. If the
motorcycle is not started within 40 seconds, restore the ignition cable by disconnecting
and connecting either clamp.
