If the kitchenscale is left unused for longer than approx. 2 minutes, it automatically switches
itself off. You can also turn the scale off manually by touching the key ON/TARE for about 2
seconds.
When the Lo symbol appears in the display, the batteries needs to be replaced. Open the
batterie compartment at the bottom of the scale. Make sure the batteries are placed correct (+
and - polarity) and close the lid.
Note: Spent batteries and rechargeable batteries do not constitute normal household waste!
They are considered to be toxic waste and, as such, should be disposed of in special containers,
toxic waste collection points or brought to electrical goods dealers.
Remark: Batteries containing pollutant substances are marked as follows: Pb = Battery contains
lead, Cd = Battery contains cadmium, Hg = Battery contains mercury.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Wipe the kitchenscale only with a damp cloth.
Never immerse the scale in water or any other liquids. Handle the scale with care, protect the
scale from impact with hard object and do not drop it.
This symbol means that this product should not be disposed of with regular household
waste (2012/19/EU). Observe the rules that apply in your country for the separated
collection of electric and electronic products. Correct disposal of the product prevents
negative consequences for the environment and for public health. The packaging
material of this product can be recycled 100%, return packaging material separately.
