Double insulation

To ensure maximum safety of the user, our tools are designed and built
to satisfy applicable European standards (EN standards). Tools with
double insulation are marked by the international symbol of a double
square. These tools must not be grounded and a two-wire cable is suf-
ficient to supply them with power. Tools are shielded in accordance
with EN 50114.
Operating instructions
The universal electric hand-held planer is designed for machining of
wood, or similar materials and soft plastics, for planing, leveling of sur-
faces, rabbeting and chamfering.
The hand-held planer application range could be expanded by the use
of accessories offered exclusively by the NAREX company, the list of
which is enclosed to this Operating Manual.
The manufacturer disclaims liability for the damages caused by un-
authorized interventions into the electric tool, or damages caused by
unauthorized interventions into the electric tool, or damages caused by
using the hand-held planer with the accessories other than the original
supplied ones. The sole responsibility for damages and accidents caused
by incorrect use of the electric tool shall be borne by the user.

Special safety instructions

Check attachment of the cutting blades before starting to of work.
The plug of the power supply cord may be connected to the mains
outlet only with the tool switch in the OFF position.
Always keep the power supply cord back away from the planer
while working.
Before switching the electric tool ON, check, if all adjustment keys
or wrenches have been removed.
Turn or exchange blunt knives in good time, the risk of kickback is
otherwise increased.
For planing short workpieces, a lead-in box must be used. In case of
stopping the planer on the machined planed surface, use suitable
attachments must use for prevention of kickback.
Unauthorized use of the electric tool, not complying with this Oper-
ating Manual, may lead to a personal injury.
Use only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer of the
planer.
Use only the original spare parts.
Use safety glasses and ear protection while working with the
planer.
Use only the original cutting heads identical to the one supplied
with the electric tool.
When working with the planer infixed to the stationary support,
always use the cutting head guard supplied with the stationary
support.
Use a push stick for machining small workpieces (with the station-
ary support).
