from the cutter head (15) and protrudes equally on both sides.

After changing the blade, make sure that all the screws are
tightened.
(PL-1200) [F8]
•
Loosen the four attachment screws (14) with the hex
wrench.
•
Remove the fixing plate (22) and than the blade (17).
•
Place the new blade against the cutter head (15) and align
the holes.
•
Put again the screws (14) and the fixing plate (22) in
position.
•
Do the same operations with the other blade and adjust the
amount of its protrusion: make sure that it sticks out at least 1.1
mm from the cutter head (15) and protrudes equally on both
sides.
ATTENTION
When mounting the blade on the cutter head, the screws
must be tight, otherwise serious personal injury may result!
•
Always check that the screws are tight and that the blade
are properly positioned. The blade edge and the sole must be
parallel otherwise the wood surface will not be flatted and
even.
Sharpening of the planer's blades
(PL-1200) [F9]
•
Dismantle both blades (17) and insert them into the
accommodation for sharpening. Back parts of the blades (17)
should rest against the stops of the pattern (23).
•
Use the locking screws (24) to lock the blades in place on
the pattern (23): the cutting edges of the blades (17) should be
in one plane.
•
Sharpen both blades (17) on a damp grinding stone.
Changing drive belt
When the belt is worn prevents the power tools from running
properly. It must be replaced.
•
Remove the belt cover (3) by loosening the screws with a
screwdriver. [F10]
•
Remove the belt by turning it and pulling it out.
•
Clean the belt pulley wheels with a brush
CAUTION
Never use water or harsh liquids.
•
Insert a new drive belt into the grooves on the smaller pulley
wheel and then turn it on to the larger pulley wheel.
•
Make sure that the belt is properly installed on both
pulleys.
•
Replace the cover.
