2. Safety Instructions
Keep this device away from rain and moisture.
Unplug the mains lead before cleaning or disassembling.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.
• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorized dealer replace it if necessary.
• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
• Do not operate the fan with a damaged power cord or plug or when the fan is not functioning properly.
• Do not cover the power cord like running it under carpets. Run the power cord away from traffic or where people
can trip over it.
• Never cover the fan to prevent fire. Place the fan onto a hard surface.
• Keep the EFANT75 away from naked flame sources and sparks.
• Only connect the device to the mains after having assembled the fan.
• Never insert fingers or any other object through the grille when the fan is running.
• To prevent overload and fuses from blowing, make sure not to connect any other appliance into the same mains
outlet where the fan is connected to.
• We do not the use of an extension cord as this may overheat and cause fire. However, if the use of an extension
cord is absolutely necessary, use a 14 AWG size cord which is rated at 1875W minimum. Connect this fan only to
the cord.
• Always fully insert the plug into the mains. Periodically check the plug for wear and deformations.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorized users.
• CLEAN THE FAN BEFORE FIRST USE AND REMOVE ALL PIECES OF POLYSTYRENE OR OTHER
PACKAGING MATERIAL USING A VACUUM CLEANER.
