If water enters the flashlight, the following steps
should be taken: unscrew the front face and
remove the batteries, which are no longer usable;
with fresh water rinse the inner parts (including the
LED set, which is assembled on a special
aluminium support and is sealed with a special
resin that keeps the LED perfectly watertight and
closed) and then dry the parts with a cloth and a
hairdryer,
attention to the mechanical parts. Carefully remove
any oxidation that has formed on the metal parts,
insert new batteries, and test to see if the flashlight
works.
If the flashlight sits for a long period of time with a
noteworthy amount of water on the inside, we
recommend rinsing the inner parts with fresh water,
then contacting an authorized service centre for
repair work.
