Functional description
FLM-420-I2 Input interface modules provide three monitoring functions:
1.
Monitoring a line with EOL resistor for standby or triggering (interruption/short circuit)
2.
Monitoring a potential free contact for "open" and "closed" states
3.
Voltage monitoring between 0 and 30 V DC.
The FLM-420-I2-E type in-built can be flush mounted in standard device boxes in accordance with EN 60670 (e.g. in
standard switching programs); alternatively, it can be installed in the devices (see Figure 6 to Figure 8, page 7).
Address setting
Address setting is carried out using the 8 DIP switches and a suitable pointed object (see Figure 1 to Figure 4,
page 3 and the following tables).
It is not permitted to use different operating modes in the same loop/stub/T branch next to each other!
