MAINTENANCE
If the following simple maintenance and cleaning operations are carried out
with due care and at the specified intervals, any problems can often be
detected and corrected before they lead to an interruption of service. The
maintenance intervals may vary from those specified, depending on the
specific working and operating conditions. It is therefore recommended that,
in addition to the periodic maintenance indicated here, the machine be
subjected to a thorough, comprehensive annual inspection. Please contact
your supplier for more information.

carried out by the user; all other work may only be carried out by

Clean or replace the bag filter and/or compact filter(s).
Check the filters for damage.
9.2
Replacing the filters
Replace the filters:
•
in the event of damage
•
as soon as the extraction capacity becomes inadequate
Because the nature and degree of contamination greatly depend on factors
such as the exact application, humidity level, intensity of use etc., you will
have to determine the necessary replacement frequency based on
experience. Nevertheless, the filters should be checked regularly (every two
weeks to every two months).
WARNING
Contaminated filters often contain dust and dirt particles that
can pose a threat to health when inhaled. Therefore, wear a
proper, approved face mask when cleaning the filters.
9.2.1 Removing the filters
•
Switch the machine off with the main switch (fig. 4).
•
Release the latches and open the grille.
•
Remove the filter or filters.
