1. Apply a 1/4" bead of plumber's putty (not supplied) under bottom of
escutcheons (8). Center escutcheons over valve bodies. Rotate stem
extensions (A) to off position: clockwise for hot (red) counterclockwise for
cold (blue). Position handles on valves pointing 90° away from spout.
Rotate the handle skirt (2) clockwise with one hand while holding the handle
(1) and applying a slight downward pressure with the other hand. Hand
tighten until the handle skirt is aligned with and seated firmly against the
escutcheon, taking care not to strip the threads.
2. Using the grease packet (25), apply grease to the outer o-ring seals of the
spout tube (B). Place spout base (14) over spout tube (B). Tighten spout
base (14) securely by sliding 7/32"hex wrench (19) through lift rod hole in
the spout base and into the spout bolt (C) and turning clockwise.
3. Apply a 1/4" bead of plumber's putty (not supplied) under bottom of
escutcheons (8). Place spout escutcheon (8) and spout skirt (13) over top of
the spout base with the lift rod hole to the back. Insure that the gasket (11)

Lavatory Waste Trim Installation Instruction
1) Place Seat Cover (3) into seat (6) and push carefully down. Be careful not to bend Seat Cover.
2) Screw pop-up head piece (1) firmly onto base part (4). Be careful not to cross thread the part. Ensure that o-ring (2) is correctly seated on head piece (1).
3) Snap lift rod guide (11) to spout tube (12) with lower end resting against tee of the hose assembly (13) as shown above. Make sure the hole is aligned with
lift rod hole in spout skirt (14).
4) Connect the pivot rod (10) to lift rod strap (7) using spring clip (9) as shown above.
5) Place the drain plug into the full open position, loosen lift rod strap screw (8) and adjust the lift rod height so that the knob clears the faucet. Tighten the
lift rod strap screw (8). Installation is now complete. If lift rod (5) will not slide through the deck, check orientation of mounting bracket to ensure that the lift
rod hole is not blocked.
To disassemble waste assembly, reverse steps as listed above. In order to remove seat cover, use screwdriver to bend snap features back from the inside as
shown in picture above. Do not try to lift seat cover with tool from the outside.

4. Tighten the spout assembly (D) to the spout skirt (13) by rotating the
spout nut (11) until the spout is securely fastened to the skirt. To achieve
this secure fastening, use pliers and the covers provided (30) (as shown
above) to torque down the spout nut. DO NOT over tighten spout nut as
it may cause damage to the finish. If you have a ceramic spout skirt,
special care must be taken.
The aerator is assembled (E) as shown above. Using the larger end of the
aerator driver (21) rotate the aerator clockwise into the discharge end of the
spout until it becomes firmly seated.
IF YOU ARE NOT INSTALLING WASTE TRIM, faucet installation is
complete. Faucet flushing is required. See faucet flushing instructions under
maintenance section on page 3. IF YOU ARE INSTALLING WASTE TRIM,
