CLEANING
WARNING
The use of chemical agents to clean the machine is not allowed. Do not use petroleum, lacquer,
paint thinner, or the like.
Keep the machine handle clean, dry, and free from oil or grease. Use only a mild soap and a
soft, damp cloth to clean the machine. Many household cleaning products contain chemicals
that can seriously damage plastic and other insulated parts.
The ventilation opening must be kept clean. Do not try to clean it by inserting sharp objects
through the openings.
REPAIR
Tool repair should be carried out only by quali ed repair personnel. Repair or maintenance by
an unquali ed person may create a risk of injury.
When repairing the machine, use only identical replacement parts. Follow the instructions in
the maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow mainte-
nance instructions can result in the risk of electric shock or injury.
EXTENSION CORD
Replace damaged cables immediately. Using damaged cables can cause electric shock, burn or
electrocute.
If an extension cord is required, you should use one with the proper size of conductors. The
table shows the correct size to use, depending on the cable length and the amperage range
speci ed on the machine identi cation label. If in doubt, use the next larger range. Always use
UL listed extension cords.
