Dear Customer,
Congratulations on your purchase of this winter and safety cover from the Hiver Pool UBBINK series.
This Operating Manual contains important information regarding the installation, use and maintenance of the winter and safety cover.
Please read this manual thoroughly and store it carefully for future reference.
Scope of delivery
1 tailor-made cover to the dimensions of the swimming pool (+overlap)
1 bag with hooks, screws and rubber clamping elements, corresponding to the eyelet pairs in the cover

SAFETY INFORMATION

Warning
Pools can be extremely hazardous for children and bathing accidents can happen quickly. Children must be constantly supervised in the proximity of a pool, even if they can swim.
The presence of a responsible adult is essential when the pool is open.
• Parents must be acquainted with lifesaving measures
• Note the emergency service numbers and hang these up in close proximity to the pool:
- Emergency call 112
- Fire brigade
- Paramedic
- Poison advice centre
• This safety cover is not a substitute for common sense or personal responsibility. It also does not replace the attention of parents and/or responsible adults who remain an essential
factor for the protection of small children.
• he cover must always be applied, even if supervision is only temporarily not present.
• Check prior to and whilst opening and closing the cover that no swimmers or foreign objects are located in the pool.
• It is strictly prohibited to access the cover, or to walk or jump on it.
• In case of damage to the cover, or if a functional fault prevents closing and securing of the pool, all measures are to be taken in order prevent access to the pool by small children until it has been repaired.
• Tools are to be stored so that these are not accessible to children.
• Assembly of the cover must be undertaken by a responsible adult.
Installation
- A hook is to be attached at each corner (48 cm under the pool edge)
with the hook opening facing downwards using the enclosed screws
(25mm screws: Check the thickness of the wood panelling in order
not to drill through it).
- Attach the ends of the clamping rubber elements in the corner eyelets A and B of the cover
(one clamping rubber element per eyelet pair). Subsequently, hook each clamping rubber element into its hook (A and B)

- Pull the cover over the pool, equip the eyelets at the corners C and D with clamping rubber elements, and hook them into the hooks on the outer walls of the pool
- Check the correct position of the cover on the pool (the overlap must be identical on all sides). Screw a hook on opposite each eyelet pair at a distance of 48 cm under the edge of the pool.
- Equip each eyelet pair with a clamping rubber element and hook each clamping rubber element into the corresponding hook.
