age, replace the saw blade for a new one.
Saw blades diff er depending on their assignation. Saw blades for wood and wood-based materials have widely spaced teeth and
saw blades for metal and plastic have fi ner teeth. You should select a saw blade suitable for the planned work. You can mount the
saw blade with their teeth directed to the lower or upper part of the housing.
Attention! Mounting the saw blade should be carried out in the protective gloves. This will reduce the risk of injury.
Rotate the spindle and insert the blade holder in the spindle gap. Rotate the clamp to the opposite side and make sure that the
blade has been properly fi xed: when the clamp is in its original position, the saw blade can not be removed from the spindle.
TOOL USE
Before starting work, make sure that the saw blade is not damaged and is installed correctly. In case of any damage to the saw
blade, e.g. fracture, bend, broken teeth, etc., it is forbidden to cut with such a saw blade. Replace the saw blade with a new one
that is free of damage.
Attach the workpiece to a workstation, e.g. by means of clamps, vices, etc. Never hold the workpiece only with hands or other
body parts. In the case of cutting, support the material at its ends and near the cutting line. Support legs should be placed on both
sides of the cutting line so that the saw blade does not jam in the cut when cutting. When cutting, the support leg must always
rest on the material to be cut.
Switching the tool on and off
Make sure the battery has been disconnected from the tool.
At the workplace make sure that the surface is level, stable and free of dirt.
Wear eye protection, hearing protection and work gloves.
Check that the switch is in the "off " position and is locked - it cannot be pressed.
Mount the saw blade dedicated for the type of cutting in the tool holder.
Connect the battery to the tool.
Grasp the tool with both hands by the handles. Do not lean the working parts of the tool against any item or object.
Adopt an appropriate posture to ensure balance, unlock the switch by moving the lock switch (III), the lock button should be
aligned with the housing on the side marked with an open padlock symbol, and then press the switch to start the tool. The switch
cannot be locked in the on position. The deeper the switch is pressed, the higher the torque speed.
Check that the saw blade moves freely and that the tool does not begin vibrating in a suspicious or excessive manner. There is
no smoke or suspicious smell coming from it. If you notice any deviation from proper operation, turn off the tool, disconnect the
battery, and then hand over the tool to an authorised repair centre.
Start cutting according to the instructions provided below.
Do not overload the tool, the temperature of the external surface must never exceed 60
C.
O
The device is switched off by releasing the switch. The saw blade may still move for some time after it is switched off . Each time
after releasing the pressure on the switch, it should be locked by moving the switch lock (III), the lock button should be aligned with
the housing on the side marked with a locked padlock symbol. This will prevent the tool from being started accidentally.
Cutting wood (VI)
Before you start cutting, you should draw the cut line with a carpentry pencil. Then rest the tool on its foot and set the saw blade
according to the drawn line, then turn on the tool, allow the tool to reach the rated speed and start cutting. At the time of cutting do
not exert too much pressure on the foot and the blade, as this can cause rupture of the working tool.
Plunge cutting
Attention! Plunge cutting may be carried out only in soft materials such as the soft wood or gypsum. You should never make
plunge cutting in metal or other hard material.
For the plunge cutting you should use a short blade. Set for the maximum revs. Rest the foot edge on the cut material and switch
on the tool. By pressing you should allow for working blade to plunge in material until the foot fully rests on the cut material. Con-
tinue cutting along the designated line.
In the case of the wood cutting you should begin cutting at a lower speed and increase it during cutting.
Cutting at the edge
Attention! For cutting at the edge you should use special power saw blades with increased fl exibility.
It is possible to cut right near the walls, fl oors, and other hard-to-reach places. For example, for cutting off the pipes. During cutting
you should make sure that the saw blade always travels through the total cross-section of the cut material. It is prohibited to cut
around the wall, this may cause rebounding of the tool towards its operator.
It is recommended to mount the blade turned by its cutting edge by about 180 degrees in relation to its normal position. This will
ensure easier cutting.
