INSTRUCTION MANUAL
5. Use 4 M4 screws and 4 hex nuts to attach the two
end reflectors to the main support frame so the holes
line up. Note: The hex nuts should go on the outside
of the reflector, same as the cord. The folds of the
reflector face in. Do not over-tighten the screws and
nuts.
6. Attach one side reflector to the two end reflectors
using 12 M4 screws and 12 wing nuts. Do not over-
tighten the screws, as you may need to leave gaps to
align the reflector pieces. Each side reflector piece
fold should be on the inside, over the end piece
flange fold, not to the outside. For easier installation
place the first screw and wing nut at bottom corner
hole and work your way radiating outward to the
edges of the reflector pieces.
7. Use 6 sets of M4 screws and wing nuts to attach the
center reflector on top of the main support frame
with its V-shape pointing up, with its notch going
around the junction box. The wing nuts should be on
the outside of the reflector.
8. Flip the unit over so that all screws are pointing inside
the reflector and the nuts are facing out.
9. Close any gaps between reflector pieces by holding
them together. Tighten all screws and wing nuts to
finish assembly. Pliers may be helpful to tighten hex
nuts and wing nuts.
10. R emove the rest of the plastic film from the reflective
pieces, taking care to get all of the pieces before
operating the reflector. Failure to remove the plastic
film will void the Hammerhead Lite's warranty.
HANGING THE REFLECTOR
1. Locate two ceiling joists with a stud finder.
2. Screw an eyebolt or some other means of hanging
the reflector securely from the ceiling into the first
joist. Screw a second eyehook into the other joist to
balance hanging the reflector.
3. Attach a chain, rope, or other sturdy material to the
eyehooks.
4. Secure the chain, rope, etc. to the Hammerhead metal V-hook hangers (Figure 3).
5. Lift the reflector and ease it onto the metal V-hook hangers, which go through the four holes on
either side of the top of the main support frame. Adjust height if necessary. The Hammerhead
power cord should be on the top of the reflector, pointing toward the ceiling.
6. Optional: Attach the power cord to the hanging chain with a cable tie so the fixture doesn't tilt.
7. Optional: Route the power cord up and away from the lamp to another hook (not included) and
down the wall to the ballast.
