4.
Let go of the clamp and it will fasten around the edge of the
pot and secure the bridge fi rmly.
NB!
NEVER lift the pot by the bridge! It may cause serious injury. Always use the pot's
designated handles for moving the pot!
5. Attach the motor unit by threading it onto the axle as shown
in the drawing, and twist the unit counter clockwise until it
aligns with the bridge.
NB!
Do not drop the motor unit on concrete fl oors or other hard surfaces as this may
damage the unit.
6. You are ready to stir!
NB!
Do not expose the bridge handles to direct fi re, like for ex-
ample using a small and very low pot on a large gas fl are, as this
may damage the bridge. Do not put the Stirio in an oven.
NB:
Always make sure there is some liquid in the pot before
turning on any heat. Follow your recipe and do not use excessive
heat on ingredients like milk etc.
7.
To start stirring simply press the On/
Off button. In some extreme cases where
very heavy food is to be stirred the unit may
need a slight push on the stirring blade to
overcome the initial resistance.
NB:
All gears need some time to run themselves in. The sound from the
Stirio motor unit will decrease after some use.
Use a spatula to sometimes scoop down sides
as the rotary motion may cause pileup along
TIP
the edges that will not be stirred. This is not
necessary for a good result but may reduce cooking time.
8. The LED light indicates if you start to run out of battery. It
will fl ash red. In this case the unit will also sound an alarm
sound. To stop the alarm insert the charging plug in the motor
unit's charging socket. The alarm will stop even if the char-
ger is not plugged to the outlet.
9. To stop the Stirio simply press the On/Off button again.
