1. Instructions for use
For a good hygiene, before the first use, sterilize the nebulizer in boiling water (20 minutes). Connect the tube to
the "Pressure" outlet of the device and to the inlet (1) of the nebulizer. Connect the big tube to the "Vibrations"
outlet of the compressor and to the inlet (7).
Fix preferably the nasal piece, or the mask, to the aerosol outlet (6). Open the upper part of the body of the jet
nebulizer unscrewing it by ¼ revolution. Check that the jet-pipe (4) is correctly inserted on the bottom part (3).
Pour the medicine in the tank (2) without overfilling the mark "FULL" (6 ml). Place back the upper part of the body
of the nebulizer screwing it by ¼ revolution. Put the device ON. A light mist of aerosol must come out of the
nebulizer. If it is not the case, check that the jets (3) or (4) are not clogged and that the upper jet (4) is well
positioned down on the bottom part (3). Do not cover the venture hole (5).

This nebulizer cannot be used with a MANOSONIC AMSA compressor.
2. Maintenance and cleaning
After each inhalation session, clean the jets (3) and (4) by using the nebulizer with water. Then, unplug the tubes
coming from the compressor and wash the nebulizer with running hot water. Do not use any metal wire to clean
the jets (3) and (4).
3. Sterilization
Dismantle the body of the nebulizer according to the picture.
Nebulizer, nasal piece, mask and tubes can be sterilized in boiling water (20 min).
Nebulizer itself can be sterilized at 134°C.

For hygienic purpose, a brand new EXTRANEB SONIC nebulizer must be given to each patient.
This nebulizer can be used with a SONIC compressor of DTF MEDICAL.
Expected shelf life of accessory: 1 year.
