Removing and replacing the container
•
Release the pot by turning it through approximately 90° in an anticlockwise
direction as far as the OPEN mark. Then lift the pot off the stand.
•
Remount the pot by positioning the mark on the pot over the OPEN mark. Then
turn the pot in a clockwise direction until the mark on the pot is located over the
CLOSE mark.
Replacing and removing the conical press
•
The small press is placed directly on the drive axle until it is flush with the filter.
•
The large press is placed on the small press, which acts as an adapter. The
two presses can be separated by pulling.
•
Unwind the mains lead on the base and assemble the machine according to
the depiction of the individual parts.
1. Select the appropriate conical press according to the size of the fruit.
2. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket.
3. Halve the citrus fruit in the middle.
4. Press the fleshy side of one half of the fruit on to the conical press and keep
pressed. The machine starts turning automatically. Results can be improved by
releasing the pressure and then pressing again. This changes the direction of
rotation.
5. The juice now flows into the container. The flesh of the fruit and the pips remain
in the filter.
6. Now take out the jug to pour the juice. You can also place the jug in the refrige-
rator with the lid closed in order to store the juice.
Mains lead take-up
The mains lead can be wound up on the base.
Important:
The citrus juices should be consumed as soon as possible. Never store such juices
in metal containers.
Please see also the illustrations under "Parts of the Citrus Press".
•

•
The lid and removable parts that have been in contact with juice can be cleaned
in soapy water.
•
Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.
