1.0 Convection heat shield - side
(long/short)
Convection heat shields in painted steel are supplied in a single
pack comprising 2 steel side plates, grey or black, along with 2
brackets.
Long version - for models with long legs
Short version - for all models
Installation
1. Lift off the top plate.
2. Attach the two brackets using the screws in the bottom plate
(see fig. 1A).
3. Place the side plate on the bracket as shown in fig. 2, and fix
the brackets to the top using the screws as shown in fig. 3.
2.0 Soapstone panel
Soapstone panels are supplied in a single pack comprising 4
panels and 4 brackets. The top two brackets are identical, but
the bottom two are different. Note that the longest section of
the bracket must be facing backwards.
Installation
1. Fix the top and bottom brackets using the screws in the
bottom and top plates (see fig. 4A and 5B).
2. There is a sleeve screwed into the soapstone panels both top
and bottom (see fig. 6C).
3. Place the soapstone panels on the bracket with the plain side
facing out (fig. 6D). Insert the enclosed Allen screws loosely
through the bracket and into the sleeve.
5. Hold the panels tightly and fix the top in the same way.
6. Adjust the panels and tighten the Allen screws both top and
bottom.
3.0 Glass panel - side
Glass panels are supplied in a single pack comprising 2 panels
and 4 brackets.
The top two brackets are identical, but the bottom two are
different. Note that the longest section of the bracket must be
facing backwards.
Installation
1. Fix the bottom brackets using the screws in the bottom plate
(see fig. 1). Note that the curved edge must be facing the
glass.
2. To prevent the glass from rubbing against the metal, add a
small piece of gasket around the glass (see fig. 7).
3. Place the glass panel right into the groove, hold it right up
against the side of the fireplace and add the top bracket.
4. Fix the bracket to the fireplace using the screws in the top
(see fig. 3).
4.0 Glass panel - door
The glass panel for the door is supplied in a single pack comprising
1 glass panel and 2 brackets.
Installation
1. Open the door.
2. Carefully loosen the gasket from the screw at the bottom
edge (see fig. 9A).
3. Loosen the 4 screws top and bottom (see Fig. 9B and 9C).
