Installing the Handle to a Pistol
Grip Machine
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Handle assembly

Bracket

Procedure
1. Install the handle assembly to the angle bracket
with 2 bolts (1/4 x 3/4 inches) and 2 locknuts (1/4
inch)(Figure 7). Ensure to use the correct bracket.

correct one shown is used
2. Drill holes to mount the handle. Using the bracket as
a template, mark and drill 2 holes, 9/32 in diameter,
on the right side of the handle. Center the holes on
the tube and just below the control panel (Figure 4).
3. Install the handle assembly to the machine with
2 bolts (1/4 x 1-3/4 inches) and 2 locknuts (1/4
inch)(Figure 8).

Installing the Cables
Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure
1. Route the cables from the discharge chute to the rear
of the machine on top of the engine platform and
along the right side of the engine. Ensure the cables
pass under any hydraulic lines and fuel lines.
2. Fasten the cables to the engine deck and mower
deck with a plastic ties and adhesive back mounts
(Figure 9 and Figure 10).
Ensure the cables do not interfere with the rear tires,
the muffler and any moving parts.
