The protective hood must also be posi-
tioned such that the sparks cannot ignite
combustible parts, including those in the
surroundings.
The device must only be oper-
ated with the protective hood
mounted.
Pay attention to the protective
cover!
Cutting with this tool is only per-
missible when using the option-
ally available, closed protective
cover (see Spare parts/acces-
sories).
1. Open the tightening lever (

positioning holes (14a).
3. Turn the protective hood (6) into the
working position. The closed side of
the protective hood must always face
the operator.
4. Close the tightening lever (
again. The protective hood should not
be able to be turned any more.
If needed, the tension on the adjustment
nut (13a) can be set.
Installing/changing disc
1. Press the spindle stop button (1).
2. Turn the mounting spindle (14) until
the spindle lock fixed the mounting
spindle. Keep and continue to hold
down the spindle lock button (1).
3. Release the clamping nut (13) with the
chuck key (10). You can release the
spindle lock button (1).
4. Set the desired disc onto the mount-
ing flange (

If the rotary direction is indicat-
ed on your disc, ensure that it
corresponds to the rotary direc-
tion of the angle grinder when
mounting. This is indicated on

turn the mounting spindle (14), until
the spindle toggle button holds the
spindle flange in a fixed position. Pull
the clamping nut (13) tight again using
the chuck key (10).
You can let go of the spindle lock but-
ton (1).
