Place two WASP-PoEs equidistant between the front and back walls. Then divide the length of the room by 4 and
place each WASP-PoE that distance from the side walls. This effectively splits the room into two halves, with each
WASP-PoE covering one half of the room.
It's not mandatory, but the best place to put the WASP-PoE is as high as possible at the indicated position in the
diagrams above. This provides the best unobstructed path for signals from the ANT+ devices to reach the WASP-PoE.
Some ANT+ devices will be "heard" by both WASP-PoE units. If your application uses either the WASP Class
Library or Framework, you should design your application to recognize this condition and de-duplicate the messages.

POE Troubleshooting
PROBLEM - Client moved into a new office that provided an ethernet network. By all accounts, the WASP-POEs were
setup on the same network as our computers. When the WASP-PoE was connected to the network, G1, G2, and G4 were
steady lit and G3 blinked once per second. The red (right) status LED (indicating radio activity) blinked regularly for a
couple of minutes and then stopped. The orange (left) LED never lit up, which means the unit has not received an IP
address from the DHCP server.
SOLUTION - To recreate the condition at NPE, we connected a PoE to a network that failed provide the WASP-PoE with an
IP address. In this scenario, the PoE responded as described above. When the DHCP server was turned back on, the PoE
acquired an IP address within 20 seconds and became operational with both red and orange lights blinking properly.
Thus, we recommend checking your network setup to ensure the WASP-PoE is able to access the DHCP server and verify
the DHCP server is providing it an IP address.
