As soon as the water pressure has reached 3 Bar, the safety valve opens
automatically and water emerges from the bottom of the water drain (3). The
water pressure can be read from the manometer (5) and regulated via the tap.
Close the tap when the normal pressure is exceeded. When the pressure
drops, the tap can easily be opened again. The manometer is an easy way to
monitor the operation of the press. A control valve (pressure reducer) can be
advantageous here. As a rule, it is already preset to 3 Bar.
Now the tap can be closed again. Please wait until the juice has completely
drained off. Open the water drain (3) to empty the rubber membrane (6). Press
the vent valve again to fill the membrane with air. The draining water can be
collected in a container and later recycled to clean the fruit or irrigate the
garden.
As soon as the water no longer drains, the pressure in the press drops and
the clamping nut (9) can be loosened. Remove the washer and the cover (8).
Remove the splash guard, remove the press pocket and remove the pulp.
