Fix the threaded rings and rubber seals with the long screw.
Note the location of the threaded ring with cutout, and the
marks on the upper threaded ring and rubber seals. Make
sure that there is the greatest possible distance between the
seal and the threaded ring.

Lower the sensor with float and the threaded ring with
cutout down into the tank. The rubber seal must be outside
the tank. Align the sensor so that the float has free move-
ment inside the tank. Tighten the long screw so that the se-
als and threaded ring come into place.
Install the other screws and tighten all of them simultan-
eously.

Connection of cables
Important! Turn the engine off and turn off the power
at the main switch(es) before carrying out work on the
electrical system.
There is a separate cable section on the PCU cable (2),
marked FUEL LEVEL CONN. This cable is in two sections
and does not have any connectors when delivered. The boat
builder can extend this cable themselves and install blade
terminals, as necessary. The extension cable and connec-
tors are not included in the kit. Volvo Penta recommends
that 1/4" tin plated bronze terminals are used.
Important! When cables are extended, it is important
that the joints are watertight. To achieve this, shrink
plastic housings or shrink hose with internal adhesive
must be used on the joints.
Blade terminals are connected to the fuel lever sender con-
nector. Connect the green/black cable (A) to the terminal
marked G and connect the black cable (B) to the terminal
marked I (Earth/Ground). Then connect the 29-pin connector
on the PCU cable to the PCU (X3).
When the kit has been installed, an auto-configuration of the
EVC system must be done. Please refer to the procedure in the
EVC installation manual.
Note! The instructions below only apply when the fuel level sen-
sor is installed one ngines with EVC
Do a zero point calibration for the fuel level sensor as in the
instructions in the installation manual/installation poster for
EVC
