COMPONENTS
8
Transfer valve with transfer hose
Compressed air unit (4) consists of the following components.
9
Compressed air connection
10 Compressed air shut-off valve
11 Safety valve
USE
Collect waste oil into the collection tank
1. Close the transfer valve (8), this is located at the bottom of the oil collection tank (5).
2. Open the drainage valve (2) at the bottom of the collecting funnel (1).
The valve is open when the valve handle is parallel to the drainage direction.
3. Raise the vehicle with a lift and position the collecting device to the oil drainage point under the
vehicle.
4. Loosen the locking screw (7) while holding the collecting funnel (1).
5. Set the collecting funnel to a suitable height and fix it again with the locking screw (7).
6. Carefully remove the vehicles oil drain plug.
7. The waste oil flows now into the collecting funnel (1) to the drainage pipe (3) into the oil collection
tank (5).
Emptying the oil collection tank
1. Make sure that the external tank has sufficient volume for the collected amount of waste oil.
2. Close the transfer valve (8).
3. Close the drainage valve (2). The valve is closed when the valve handle is positioned to the
direction of flow.
4. Position the elbow pipe of the transfer hose into the opening of an external tank, which the waste
oil is to be transferred.
5. Connect the quick coupling of a flexible compressed air hose to the compressed air connection
(9) at the top of the oil collection tank (5).
6. Open the shut-off valve (10) and let the compressed air flow into the oil collection tank (5) until
the safety valve (11) on the compressed air unit (4) opens. The oil collection tank (5) is now
under pressure at approx. 0.6 bar. The shut-off valve (10) can be closed again after the safety
valve (11) opened.
7. Make sure the elbow pipe of the transfer hose (6) is in the external tank.
8. Carefully open the transfer valve (8).
9. The waste oil from the oil collection tank (5) now flows through the transfer hose (6) into the
external container.
Oil collection tank is empty
1. Close the transfer valve, disconnect the air hose from the air connection and carefully open the
air shut-off valve to release the residual pressure from the oil collection tank.
2. Open the drainage valve when all pressure has been released from the oil collection tank.
3. The waste oil collection tank is now ready for the next use.
