Trouble shooting:
Failure Cause
Five digits flash simultane- Battery voltage lower than
ously, about once per sec. 1.45V.
Display doesn't change
Accidental trouble in circuit
when the slider is moved.
Less accurate then specified
Dirt in the sensor.
but within +0.1mm
1. Battery in poor contact.
No display on LCD
2. Battery voltage
under 1.4V

Measure
Replace the battery
Take the battery out and re-
set it after 30 sec.
Remove slider cover and its
assembly, clean compressed
air (5kg/cm)
1. Remove battery cover
and adjust the battery.
2. Replace battery.
