HOW TO PROGRAM THE "T‐FLIGHT HOTAS X" JOYSTICK
FOR "ACE COMBAT ASSAULT HORIZON – PS3" / "ACE COMBAT INFINITY – PS3"
GENERAL MAPPING (will be saved in the joystick's internal memory)
1) Turn on "Preset Function" (LED turns on)
2) Map the right mini-stick to the D-Pad (to use the joystick's D-Pad for the view):
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Push the throttle up (LED flashes quickly)

Press the up direction on the D-Pad (LED stops flashing)

Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Push the throttle down (LED flashes quickly)
-
Press the down direction on the D-Pad (LED stops flashing)

Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Twist the joystick to the left (LED flashes quickly)
-
Press the left direction on the D-Pad (LED stops flashing)

Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Twist the joystick to the right (LED flashes quickly)

Press the right direction on the D-Pad (LED stops flashing)

3) Map gas & deceleration to the throttle:
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Push the throttle up (LED flashes quickly)

Press the R1 button (LED stops flashing)
-
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Push the throttle down (LED flashes quickly)

Press the L1 button (LED stops flashing)
-
4) Map "Fire Machine Gun" to the trigger (R1):
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Press the cross button (LED flashes quickly)

Press the R1 button (LED stops flashing)

5) Map "Fire Missile" to the Missile button (L1):
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Press the circle button (LED flashes quickly)

Press the L1 button (LED stops flashing)

6) Map "Switch Target" to the L3 button:
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Press the triangle button (LED flashes quickly)

Press the L3 button (LED stops flashing)

7) Map "Switch Weapon" to the R3 button:
Press Mapping (LED flashes slowly)

Press the square button (LED flashes quickly)
