IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the
safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,
due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,
must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.

Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the

instruction manual together with the appliance.
Before plugging in the adapter, check that your mains voltage corresponds to that of the

adapter. Never use any other adapter than that supplied with the appliance. Never use
the adapter for any other purpose.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

From time to time check the appliance for damages. Do not use the appliance if it is

damaged but have it checked and repaired by a competent qualified electrician(*). The
adapter is not repairable, so if the adapter or its cord is damaged it has to be returned to
the seller during guarantee period or thrown away when the guarantee has expired. In
that case it has to be replaced by an identical model.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions. Only use the special provided bags or containers.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.

Never place it into the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

Never use the appliance with its adapter outside and always place it in a dry

environment.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use and before cleaning.

Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could

constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in

any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Do not use the appliance on body parts of humans or animals.

Never suck fluids or powdery substances with this appliance.

Even though the appliance has a mains adapter, it is not rechargeable. You can either

use the appliance with 6 batteries of type AA of 1.5 V or you can plug the mains adapter
directly into an electrical outlet (with batteries inside the appliance or not).
(*) Competent qualified service: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this service.
ASSEMBLY
Use the mains adapter or put 6 batteries (rechargeable or not) of type AA of 1.5 V each into
the appliance. To do so, open the lid of the battery compartment and respect the polarity of
the batteries.
The mains adapter is independent of the battery compartment, i.e. when you use
rechargeable batteries, these are not recharged by the adapter.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Team
International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced
and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm
width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you
keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of
the I/B. Don't change the page numbering. Keep the
language integrity.
