BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using the Trebs 15100 Gourmet Raclette, make sure all the packaging materials is removed from the
device. Make sure that there is no plastic protection material on the device, plates, pans, spatulas and heating
device.
Let the device work on maximum heat for about 5 minutes without any food on the plates or pans to remove
any exces protective coating. A small amount of smoke is normal during the 1st time use. Please ensure there is
adequate ventilation.
Once the plates have cooled down, rinse and clean the plates and pans in a hot rinse bath.
Do not use the plates until these have completely dried.
Your Trebs 15100 Gourmet Raclette is now ready for operation.
USING THE TREBS 15100
1. Place the Stone grill plate in a preheated over at 200 degrees.
2. Connect the appliance to a duly installed 220 - 240V socket with earth protection.
3. Place the Grill / Teppanyaki plate on either side of the designated racking on the base unit.
4. Carefully remove the hot Stone grill from the oven and place aside from the Grill / Teppanyaki plate to
complete the cooking area.
5. Turn on the appliance by rotating the adjustable heat thermometer clockwise to the preferred heat setting.
6. Place the cooking hoods legs in it's designated position. The hood will automatically turn on when placed
correctly.
7. If preferred the Grill/Teppanyaki plate can be lightly greased before use.
8. The Stone grill plate can be prepared by lightly covering the plate with rough grain salt.
9. Only use the included spatulas to touch the plates. Do not use metal objects, which can scratch the non stick
coating.
10. After use, turn the heat thermostat to MIN.
11. Leave the appliance to cool and clean as described in cleaning the Trebs 15100.
USING THE HOOD
1. Check and make sure the filter is in place and the filter rack has locked
properly.
2. Note that the fan will not turn on if the filter rack is not properly installed.
3. The feet of the cooking hood act as connector with the cooker hood
connection base on the base unit.
4. Make sure the connection feet are clean and dry before installation on the
base.
5. Make sure the connection feet are placed firmly on the cooker hood
connection base. The Fan will automatically turn on if the base unit is
plugged in to a power outlet.
CLEANING THE TREBS 15100
1. Always make sure the base unit is unplugged and has sufficiently cooled down before cleaning the device.
2. The Grill / Teppanyaki plate, spatulas and Gourmet / Raclette pans are dishwasher safe.
3. The stone plate can only be cleaned by rinsing in hot water. Using a dishwasher may cause the stone to break.
4. Use a damp cloth to clean the base unit.
5. Hand wash the cooking hood filter after each use and leave to dry to maintain the best filtration performance.
