Laser pointer self-levelling
Caution! Use the laser pointer self-levelling feature only when the tripod threaded nut is vertically downward. Any other orientation
will be indicated by the product as a self-levelling range overrun.
Moving the power switch to the 'open padlock' starts the laser pointer self-levelling feature. If the product is oriented at an angle
within the laser pointer self-levelling range, the projected laser lines are levelled automatically.
If the projected laser lines are fl ashing, the product is oriented at an angle outside of the laser pointer self-levelling range and
self-levelling will not be eff ective. Reposition the product within the laser pointer self-levelling range so that the projected laser
lines stop fl ashing.
Mounting the product on a tripod
The product base has two threaded holes for mounting on a tripod (not included) or the base (included with the product).

The base provides precise panning (rotation on the horizontal plane) of the mounted product. The scale shows the angle of
rotation.
The base facilitates lifting and lowering the product by operating the lifting dials at the back of the base.
The back of the base features strong magnets to facilitate attachment to any surface made of a ferromagnetic material. The top of
the base back features a spirit level to control the level.
Consult the tripod operating instructions before mounting the product.
