• When trimming long branches perform the work gradually, by layers.
• Operate the hedge trimmer only when the hedge is dry.
• After the work is finished put the blade shield on.
TRIMMING HEDGES
• Besides trimming hedges, the hedge trimmer can also be used to trim
bushes and shrubs.
• The best results can be achieved when guiding the blade so it is at an
angle of approx. 15 0 with respect to the hedge.
• Two sided blade and counter-moving cutting parts allows cutting in
both directions or swinging motion (fig. C).
• To obtain uniform height of hedge, extending a rope or a line along
trimmed hedge plane is recommended. Cut branches protruding
above the defined line (fig. D).
• To guide the branches into the blade, move it evenly forward or
backward along the line of cutting.
• Perform hedge sides trimming in arc motions, from bottom to top
(fig. E).

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before commencing
any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
Exercise caution due to sharp edges of cutting teeth. When not in
use, the blade shall always be protected with the blade shield.
CLEANING
• Clean hedge trimmer body and plastic parts with soft brush and cloth.
• Do not use water or agents with solvents or polishing substances.
• Remember to always keep the ventilation holes of the hedge trimmer
casing clean.
MAINTENANCE AND STORING
• Check hedge trimmer against obvious damages, such as loosened
or damaged blade, loose screw joints and worn out or damaged
structural parts.
• Ensure guards and protection parts are not damaged and installed
properly. Carry out all necessary maintenance and repair works before
using the hedge trimmer.
• Clean the blade and spray preserving liquid on it after each use. When
operating the tool for a long time, it is recommended to regularly
lubricate the blade with thin layer of oil (fig. F).
• Check condition of blade edges.
• Store the hedge trimmer in a safe, dry place, beyond reach of children.
• Do not put any objects on the hedge trimmer body.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.

WARNUNG: Beim Gebrauch
Sicherheitsvorschriften zu beachten. Für die eigene Sicherheit und
die Sicherheit Dritter ist die vorliegende Betriebsanleitung vor dem
Gebrauch der Heckenschere durchzulesen. Die Betriebsanleitung
ist für den späteren Gebrauch aufzubewahren.
• Alle Körperteile weit weg vom Messer halten. Das geschnittene
Werktücke beim laufendem Messer nicht zurückschieben
bzw. niederhalten. Das geklemmte Werkstück erst nach dem
Ausschalten des Gerätes entfernen. Ein Moment der Unachtsamkeit
beim Umgang mit der Heckenschere kann zu schweren Verletzungen
führen.
• Elektrowerkzeuge sind an isolierten Flächen des Handgriffs
festzuhalten, denn sonst kann das Messer das Netzkabel
berühren. Der Kontakt des Messers mit dem spannungsführenden
Netzkabel kann dazu führen, dass die Spannung auf Metallelementen
auftreten kann und folglich einen elektrischen Schlag verursachen
kann.
• Läuft das Messer nicht, ist die Heckenschere am Handgriff
festzuhalten. Beim Transport bzw. Aufbewahren der Baumschere
stets die Schutzabdeckung aufschieben. Ein sorgfältiges Umgehen
mit dem Gerät vermindert das Risiko von Verletzungen durch den
Kontakt mit dem Messer.
• Das Netzkabel vom Schnittbereich fernhalten. Beim Einsatz
kann sich das Netzkabel in der Hecke befinden und zufälligerweise
durchgetrennt werden.
ANWEISUNG
• Vor dem Gebrauch prüfen Sie die Netzversorgung und die
abgewickelte Leitung auf Beschädigung oder Verschleiß.
• Die Heckenschere darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn das Netzkabel
beschädigt oder verschleißt ist.
• Vor dem Anschließen der Heckenschere ans Netz prüfen Sie stets,
dass die Netzspannung der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen
Nennspannung des Gerätes entspricht.
• Die Heckenschere st nur an die Elektroinstallation mit dem
Differenzstromschutz anzuschließen, die Versorgung unterbrechen
wird, falls der Leckstrom 30 m
wird.
• Zum Anschluss der Heckenschere
Versorgungsleitung einzusetzen, die für den Betrieb im Freien
geeignet ist.
• Falls die Leitung beim Betrieb beschädigt wird, schalten Sie
