REMOVABLE INNER COMFORT PADDING
To remove the inner comfort padding open the chin strap (see instructions) and pro-
ceed as below.
1.
Cheek pad disassembly
1.1.
Pull the front part of the left cheek padding towards the inside of the helmet to
release the two lower snap fasteners placed on the back (Fig. 1).
1.2.
Pull out the upper flap of the left cheek pad from the cavity between the inner
polystyrene shell and the outer shell; then completely remove the cheek pad-
ding from the helmet (Fig.2).
1.3.
Repeat the same process on the right side of the helmet.
2.
Liner disassembly
2.1.
Pull the rear part of the comfort padding towards the inside of the helmet to
release the two side buttons placed on its back from their housing on the rear
support secured to the inner polystyrene shell (Fig.3).
2.2.
Grasp the left front area of the liner and pull it upwards to remove the relative
flap from the support fixed to the inner polystyrene shell (Fig.4). Then repeat
this process also for the central and right front tabs.
2.3.
Pull out the left and right side flaps of the comfort padding from the cavities
between the inner polystyrene shell and the outer shell (Fig. 5).
2.4.
Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
3.
Liner assembly
3.1.
Insert the liner correctly into the helmet and fit it well against the base.
3.2.
Insert the left front flap of the liner into its seat on the support fixed to the pol-
ystyrene inner shell and push it downwards until it is completely locked. Follow
the same steps for the central and right flap (Fig.4).
3.3.
Attach the two side buttons on the back of the rear part of the comfort padding
to the relevant housing on the rear support fixed to the inner polystyrene shell
(Fig. 3).
3.4.
Pull out the left and right side flaps of the liner, pushing them in the cavities
between the inner polystyrene shell and the outer shell (Fig. 5).
3.5.
Lay out the inner comfort padding so as to make it adhere to the inner shell.
4.
Cheek pad disassembly
4.1.
Insert the upper flap of the left cheek pad in the space between the inner poly-
styrene shell and the outer shell (Fig.2)
4.2.
Fold the chin strap inside the helmet and press the cheek padding at the two
lower snap fasteners placed on the back to hook it in the relevant positions
(Fig.1).
4.3.
Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
Warning: the buttons are not hooked until a click is heard. Check that the strap
comes out properly from the cheek pad.
