Troubleshooting
If you experience problems with your B119-303-R switch, try the following remedies:
• Connect an HDMI cable directly between the source and the display to verify that the cable is
operating. Repeat to test all cables.
• Once you confi rm that all HDMI cables are functional, use two cables to test the ports on the
B119-303-R switch. Plug one cable between the display and the HDMI OUTPUT port on the
switch. Plug the second cable between HDMI INPUT 1 and the source. Repeat with HDMI
INPUT 2 and INPUT 3, using the same source. If all ports function, the B119-303-R is
operating properly. Note: To ensure that both sources and display function properly, the
combined cable length should not exceed 16 feet.
• If the unit is plugged in and the Power LED is not lit, verify that the power supply is functioning.
Use a voltmeter to measure the output of the AC adapter to verify that 9V is present. If output is
9V, the AC adapter is functional and the B119-303-R switch has failed. Note: The positive (+) is
in the middle of the plug and the ground (-) is on the exterior of the plug.
