1 Functional Description

The charging lance is used for charging and discharging
the buffer tank. Low-impulse insertion/removal allows
the temperature stratification in the storage tank to be
maintained up to the usage limit.
For information on making the storage tank con-
nections, see Connection and System Dia-
grams (P38).
2 Installation on the Sol-
visStrato
IMPORTANT
Handle the charging lance carefully.
Protect the charging lance from warping.
Installing the charging lance
1. Remove the plugs of the corresponding socket.
2. Insert and seal the charging lance.
3. Connect the on-site piping to the lance.
4. After checking the seal, install the tank insulation.

We also recommend the installation of a U-shaped
thermal siphon, preferably made from plastic or
stainless steel pipe, on the flow connections for
the heat generator and heating circuit.
